Whether you’re new to running or an experienced runner dealing with recurring niggles or injuries, this session is designed to help you run better, feel stronger, and stay injury-free. With over 20 years competing as a professional athlete in both athletics and triathlon—including the Commonwealth Games, World Triathlon Series, Ironman 70.3 World Champs, and multiple national titles—I’ve spent a lifetime learning what works. Now, after stepping away from racing, my focus is on helping others experience the joy of running, no matter their age, experience, or ability. I believe anyone can run well with the right support and knowledge.
What to expect from your Run Fundamentals session (60 mins):
At the start of the session, we’ll chat about your goals, current running experience, and any problems you’re facing—whether that’s pain, poor performance, or lack of confidence. Then we’ll dive into the key fundamental movements of running, where I’ll assess your movement, identify any weaknesses or inefficiencies, and guide you through drills and exercises tailored to your needs.
You’ll learn how to:
Prepare your body effectively for running
Perform using the correct muscles and mechanics
Prevent common injuries
Promote faster recovery after sessions or races
