Running Assessments

Running assessments can be carried out at the clinic on our treadmill, or outdoors on the road or track. Our chartered physiotherapist have years of experience working with runners from complete novices to elite athletes. They are experts in biomechanical assessments and will look at your running technique whist using industry leading sensor technology ‘Vi Move’ to provide the most accurate data possible. Our Vimove sensors will provide information on your running technique that cannot be assessed visually, such as symmetry, cadence, ground reaction force and ground contact time.

The results from your running assessment will detect biomechanical faults that could be increasing your chances of sustaining an injury. Our therapists will be able to advise you on the best ways to improve your technique and become a more efficient runner, hence reducing your chances of sustaining future running related injuries.
