Angharad spent the first 10 years of her career working in the NHS specialising in musculoskeletal injuries before joining the team at one2one. Since 2008, Angharad has been an essential part of the team and has been instrumental in the success and growth of our multidisciplinary clinic.
As well as working with countless professional, semi professional and amateur athletes at one2one, Angharad was the physiotherapist for the Welsh Deaf rugby team for a number of years, wining the Deaf Rugby World Cup in New Zealand 2002.
Angharad is an ex international road cyclist (representing GB through 2010-2012 and Wales in the 2010 Commonwealth games), has completed several marathons worldwide including New York, Berlin and London. More recently, Angharad has turned her hand at middle distance triathlons competing in 70.3 events and gaining several podium age group finishes. This has lead to a keen interest in the treatment, prevention and management of cycling/running/triathlon injuries.
Angharad is a very competitive and talented sportswoman, she loves to represent us in local triathlon events beating her clients to the finish line.
Strength & Conditioning
Angharad runs a Strength and Conditioning Class at the clinic every Monday Evening at 5.45pm. This class is particularly beneficial for triathletes, runners and cyclists who want to improve their performance and prevent the risk of injuries through strength training.
